Spring Tide – a new wave of art in Tooting
A group exhibition curated by Agnieszka Lokaj and hosted by Gosia Oldakowski-Pacak. The exhibition coincided with Wandsworth being the London Borough of Culture 2025 – a year in which we showcase how culture can bring joy, making us feel happier, healthier, and more connected.
The exhibition featured 69 artists with diverse backgrounds, professional experiences, artistic styles, and visions of what springtime joy means. Spring Tide was the greatest organizational challenge in the history of Magan Gallery!
Theme: Spring signifies renewal, connection and joy. This exhibition seeks to illustrate the journey of transformation that occurs during this season, inviting artists to express their interpretations of spring’s essence.
MAGAN GALLERY mostly specializes in hand crafted amber and silver jewellery but is also curating exhibitions from various walks of art, featuring the works of the most talented emerging and established artists from around the world.
Situated very close to the tube Tooting Bec station is easily accessible from any part of London, but it also already became a place of interest to the local inhabitants, especially that in this part of London there’s no excess of institutions of culture.
